This is our own song contest to champion talent in the local area and celebrate the wonderful communities of Derby with our very own version of the Eurovision song contest.
This event will also be live streamed on BBC Radio Derby and presented live by Martyn Williams.
We thought that there was no better place to host this event than at the Ukrainian Centre in Derby as Ukraine are the official current Eurovision winning country and therefore will be opening our event with a host of amazing entertainment.
We will then have 12 acts performing live hoping to become the official Derbyvision champion by the end of the night!
Friendly judging will be taking place on the night with representatives from the music industry in Derby and community members and despite whichever act is awarded the most points it is a fact that all of them are wonderful and will provide a brilliant evening of joyful entertainment.
Plus the evening will feature a host of special guest performers too!
