East London to Esfahan: A Dual narrative of passports and protests.

DUAL دوگانه , an autobiographical agitprop by Peyvand Sadeghian, captures the complexities of living with dual UK-Iranian citizenship.

This bold solo performance blends puppetry, drag, and powerful storytelling. From East London’s concrete landscape to the historical depths of Esfahan, it’s a journey through officialdom, protest, and self-discovery.

The show, led by the voice of Pedar (Father), invites audiences into a world where personal stories intersect with global politics, offering a unique perspective on nationality, belonging, and resilience.
