Sat 6 Jul, 2024
Are you a fan of matinees and looking to connect with like-minded individuals to enhance your theatre experience? Perhaps you're curious about what goes on behind the scenes or eager to engage in creative activities before the show begins. Matinee Meet-Ups is your opportunity to delve deeper into the world of theatre and build connections within your community.

Join us for July’s Matinee Meet-Up on Saturday 6 July, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM!

This summer, Derby Theatre is thrilled to present a BSL-integrated production of Alice in Wonderland, one of the six in-house shows we produce each year.

This month’s session features Lighting Designer Alexandra Stafford. Discover the art and magic of theatre lighting and gain insights into the intricate process of creating light designs for stage productions. Alexandra will also share her unique approach to designing for a bilingual production.

After the session, immerse yourself in our matinee performance of Alice in Wonderland. This enchanting production, filled with original music, promises a magical adventure for both children and adults.

We look forward to seeing you there!
