MAIN TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Salary: £24,957

Contract: Full time, permanent.

Hours: 39 hours per week (Occasional evening, weekend and bank holiday working may be required)

Holiday: 28 days per annum, including public holidays, rising to 33 days over five years

Pension: Derby Theatre operates a contributory pension scheme provided by NEST

Probation: Appointment will be subject to satisfactory completion of a six-month probationary period.

Notice: One Month.

Purpose of Post

This new position will support the development and implementation of Derby Theatre’s Audience Development strategy. It will forge, strengthen and develop relationships with local, regional and national press and participants to engage with various strands of the Theatre’s work, including engaging current audiences, as well as diverse new ones. The role will also support the marketing function in managing and implementing campaigns, plus content creation and leading on produced show programmes. The postholder will be extremely confident in communicating with people from across a range of backgrounds and will need strong organisational skills.
