MAIN TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Salary: £24,957

Hours: 39 hours per week
Evening, weekend and bank holiday working will be required

Holiday: 28 days per annum, including Bank Holidays, rising in line with the BECTU agreement

Probation: Appointment will be subject to satisfactory completion of a six- month probationary period.

Notice: One month

Purpose of Post

As a key member of the theatre technical team, you will achieve the highest standards in the delivery of technical requirements for Derby Theatre productions, received works, hire and related projects throughout the building and off-site.

The postholder is a stage specialist but the technical team at Derby Theatre works flexibly. Therefore, the person filling this post will also be expected to work in all technical areas (sound, lighting, AV, wardrobe) as needed and to develop skills in those areas. A comprehensive understanding of the work of the wider department is therefore required.

The nature of the post requires un-supervised work and overseeing the work of others.
