Latte Loca is back, this time out in the community!

Join Derby University graduates Abby Gains and Nina Blaszczyk on their journey of Fringe previews.

Latte Loca by Coffee Date Theatre Company is a short 50-minute musical adventuring the lives of two friends as they experience friendship, love, betrayal, and tragedy. Summer, a barista at local Derby coffee shop ‘Latte Loca’; meets Medea, a medicine graduate who recently moved to the area. Almost immediately the girls, with juxtaposing personalities, form an unlikely friendship.  When they figure out Medea has been dating Summer’s fiancé, they decide to plot revenge to teach him a lesson. However, it doesn’t all go to plan, or not Summer’s anyway.

Eavesdrop on Medea and Summer’s conversation as their friendship forms and lives unfold. Watch them as they experience friendship, betrayal and tragedy. After all, sisters before misters, right?

Coffee Date Theatre Company is a vibrant initiative bringing live theatre and music to local cafés, transforming everyday coffee shops into intimate performance spaces.
