Writing for Wellbeing

Sat 19 Jul, 2025
What if writing wasn’t about where you’ve got your full stops but about YOU. Unfiltered with no expectations?

Emily Webster, emerging Derbyshire playwright, believes that everyone is a writer; they just need a pen!

Her new play ‘Inheritance Tax’ stems from using writing techniques to come to terms with hereditary hearing loss.

Join us on Saturday 19th July at 3pm for a fun workshop centred on how you can write to help your wellbeing. The workshop is an introduction to writing techniques, how to use writing to help get things out of your system and get them onto the page. No previous writing experience needed, all you need is you!

The session will be BSL interpreted. For all access requirements please let us know and we will endeavour to help, by contacting: emily.webster023@gmail.com

*Light refreshments will be provided.

**Please bring along any writing journals and stationery as you wish. Paper and pens will be provided. Aim to arrive 10 mins early to settle in before the workshop starts.
