On Friday 24th February Derby CAN is running an afternoon of FREE creative craft Sunflower workshops for the community of Derby to make sunflowers with messages of HOPE for Ukraine. These sunflowers will then be carried in a peace procession happening that evening in which you are welcome to join! (Procession details below.)
Once you have made your sunflower you can then write on the leaf or petal a message of hope that will then be tied to a tree sculpture in the Cathedral at the end of the procession that evening.
To guarantee a place please book a time slot. – There will also be chance to drop by during the day if there is space available.
If you’re under 16, please attend with an adult or guardian. – No upper age limit, all welcome!
