Iain joins Derby Theatre from the leadership team of Halo Community Leisure Trust in Herefordshire. Working as Operations Director, Iain has played a key role in the rapid expansion of this trust which now employs 600 people and operates 23 centres in England and South Wales.
Previous to this, Iain’s experience in theatre includes working at such venues as Edinburgh Playhouse, Princess Theatre, Torquay, Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham, Southport Theatre and Floral Hall, in a number of Front of House, sales and management roles. Iain is also a Trustee of Herefordshire Night Shelter, a charity providing accommodation for homeless men in Hereford. Iain’s role at Derby Theatre will be responsible for the implementation and operation of Derby Theatre’s activities, managing and developing the staff team, strategic objectives and financial strategy, as well as the strategic development and growth of the organisation alongside the CEO/Artistic Director and Creative Learning Director.
