About Derby Theatre’s Youth Theatre
If you’re aged 8-19 and passionate about theatre, you’re already part of a creative and exciting community! Our Youth Theatre offers opportunities to develop skills in:
- Acting and Performance
- Technical Theatre
- Leadership and Events Management
- Writing for Theatre
Each group works towards an annual show performed on the Derby Theatre stage, creating an unforgettable experience for all involved.
Payment for Current Members
If you’re already attending one of our Youth Theatre groups, please choose your subscription payment and secure your place.
Group Schedules
Here’s a reminder of our current Youth Theatre groups:
- Years 4-6:Tuesdays, 5pm – 6:30pm
Saturdays, 9:30am – 11am - Years 7-9:Thursdays, 5pm – 7pm
Sundays, 12pm – 1:30pm
- Years 7-11:Sundays, 10am – 11:30am
- Years 10-13:Fridays, 6pm – 8pm
Sundays, 2pm – 4pm - Connections Company (Ages 13-19):
Saturdays, 11:30am – 1:30pm - Deaf Youth Theatre (Ages 10-16):
Wednesdays, 5pm – 6:30pm
