Schools Offer
Creative Careers Talks Schools (30-45mins)
As part of CANVAS Creative Careers Month, we’re offering schools the chance to connect students with professionals from Derby’s creative and cultural sectors.
Cultural carers talk from a staff member from one of the cultural organisations across Derby, or lecturer from University of Derby. An insight into the journeys and pathways into creative careers, and information on potential opportunities for young people to get involved in cultural activities in the city.

Creative Careers Workshop Schools (2hours)
As part of CANVAS Creative Careers Month, we’re offering schools the chance to connect students with professionals from Derby’s creative and cultural sectors.
A hands-on creative workshop of up to 2 hours, exploring creative industries. The workshop will be led by a professional creative artist, and will include a conversation about their creative journey, a practical creative activity, and opportunity for Q&A. Potential workshops: Theatre (Performance), Music/Music Production, Dance, Technical Theatre and Design, Art.
Cost: £300+vat
