For KS3-5: come backstage and meet the professionals who work across all the different departments at Derby Theatre.

Do your students want to get into theatre? KS3-5 can join us for a careers day to learn about the broad range of career paths in the arts beyond acting.

Please email learning@derbytheatre.co.uk with your preferred dates, group size and any bespoke requirements and a member of the team will get back to you to organise the booking.

A member of our Box Office team will then be in touch to take payment prior to the day.

Minimum group size: 30 pupils

Maximum group size: 60 pupils

All of the Learning workshops are suitable for special schools and can be tailored to suit the needs of your students. Please enquire.

All of our Behind the Scenes sessions can be used to support the delivery of Arts Award.

Learn beyond the classroom, discover the theatre and find out about professional artists in a practical Careers Day on site at the Theatre.

We’ll inspire your pupils, giving them the knowledge they need to help complete their award.

These sessions can be held throughout the year so please enquire about dates.

Work experience placements for Year 10 pupils are available periodically throughout the year.
