A stage play inspired by the exquisite poetry of Hazrat Peer Waris Shah. The famous Punjabi story of star-crossed lovers Heer and Ranjha, transcends moral boundaries and embodies the eternal quest for spiritual union.
Heer, a beautiful and strong-willed girl from wealthy Punjabi family meet Ranjha, a handsome young man from Takht Hazara who is known as a skilled flute player. Heer, who is mesmerised by the music, falls in love with him. Ranjha is attracted by her extraordinary beauty and also falls in love. But Heer’s uncle Khaido is ready to do anything to separate them. Will their love overcome the limitations of societal obligations? What are the two lovers willing to risk and why?
