Plot twist – Maya used to work in the record industry managing bands as well as being an actor and working in the West End. Now she is an amazing children’s author and has won more awards than it would be sensible to list.
Hear her talk about her love of books, mysteries and writing. The session will be interactive, with Maya talking about the Ancient Egyptians and hosting a quiz! The last 15 minutes of the session are reserved for your questions, so get planning!
Following the event, Maya will be on hand to meet children and sign books. Please be aware that signings can take up to an hour after the event.
We will be joined by our Sponsor Cosy and Derby Book Festival will have a book stall selling books by the author (cash or card accepted).
Maya’s event is suitable for children aged 9-12 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
