She studied law and went into journalism, however after a lifetime of doodling in the sidelines she finally went back to University and studied illustration. Now she is an amazing children’s author and illustrator, creating hilarious characters to entertain us.
Hear her talk about her love of books, characters and illustration. The session will be interactive, with Nadia showing us how to draw some of our favourite characters from Grimwood. Please bring paper and pencils along to the session. The last 15 minutes of the session are reserved for your questions, so get planning!
Following the event, Nadia will be on hand to meet children and sign books. Please be aware that signings can take up to an hour after the event.
We will be joined by our Sponsor Cosy and Derby Book Festival will have a book stall selling books by the author (cash or card accepted).
Nadia’s event is suitable for children aged 6-9 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
