Niall Hickman: Wolverhampton Wanderers FC – A History of the Club

Niall Hickman spent over 30 years in sports journalism with Sky Sports, ITV, the Daily Mail and Daily Express. During that time he ghost-wrote two boxing autobiographies of former world champions Ricky Hatton and Carl Froch.

He joined the University of Derby in 2017 and has overseen many graduates entering into the world of sports reporting. His third book is the history of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC as it prepares to celebrate its 150th anniversary next year. The book focuses on the legendary names which have made Wolves one of the most famous clubs in the land and there is particular emphasis on the growth of women’s football in the city.
