At the top of the bill is Nick Page, a Britain’s Got Talent Live Finalist and former English Comedian of the Year. Described by Rhod Gilbert as “the very best storyteller on the comedy circuit“, Nick builds his sets out of the kind of bizarre, hilarious life choices most people would try to hide. He’s done solo runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, gigged in over 90 countries, and even picked up an Operational Service Medal from the British Army for his shows in international warzones.
Michael McKenzie (Opener)
Opening the show is Michael McKenzie, a Derby-based stand-up and trainee doctor. Since reaching the finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards and earning a nomination for Student Comedian of the Year, Michael has made a name for himself across the UK circuit with his warm stage presence and tightly written, dark-edged material.
Lovdev Barpaga (Host/MC)
Guiding you through the evening is Lovdev Barpaga. The former UK Pun Champion has an effortless, completely unique charm that wins rooms over immediately, delivering old-school, feel-good comedy with modern timing.
Kate Robb & Sean Payne (Support)
Rounding out the line-up are two excellent rising voices from the Midlands circuit. Kate Robb is a Funny Women Awards Semi-Finalist whose sarcastic, honest takes on family life and motherhood have earned her a reputation as “definitely one to watch“. Joining her is local comic Sean Payne, a Derby native who recently made waves by winning the local Derby Gong Show.
