Created by South Korean mural artist Woosun Choi and Singaporean theatre practitioner Syania Shaharuddin, Stumbling is all about embracing the chaos and challenges of adulthood, from the everyday struggles to the big life transitions. It’s a playful and cathartic exploration of those moments when everything feels impossible—like tax claims or the inevitable awkwardness of navigating new spaces. But guess what? We’re in this together!
Laugh, dance, and express yourself through vibrant splashes of colour as we turn frustration into a work of art.
This is a celebration of togetherness, community, and the power of shared experiences. Together, we’ll stumble, we’ll laugh, and we’ll create something unforgettable.
About Us
Stumbling
Stumbling is an immersive, playful performance created by mural artist Woosun Choi (South Korea) and theatre practitioner, Syania Shaharuddin (Singapore), both now based in Nottingham.
Born from the shared experience of navigating adulthood—especially after moving across continents—this piece explores the everyday hurdles that somehow feel insurmountable (tax claims? A nightmare). What helped? Drinks, laughter, and collective moaning about the absurdity of it all. At its core, Stumbling celebrates play!
