Following our previous sold-out and hugely successful event in 2023, we are thrilled to announce that Derbyvision is BACK!
This is your chance to represent your area, perform your original music, and be part of Derby’s very own version of the Eurovision Song Contest — celebrating the incredible communities and talent across our city.
What You Need to Apply
To enter, you must submit:
- One original song (this is the song you will perform on the night)
- The Area of Derby you will represent
- You must be 18+ (Groups with participants under 18 will be considered but must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.)
NOTE: Songs can be any genre and in any language. You may represent any area of Derby, but please note — only one act per area will be selected.

In 2023, the event was hosted at the Ukrainian Centre in Derby and live-streamed on BBC Radio Derby. This year, we’re heading to… Stockbrook!
Your 2023 winner, Terrianne, will be opening the night, alongside a variety of special guest performers.
What to Expect
The evening will take place on Friday 22 May and feature 12 acts representing different areas of Derby, each performing their original song.
Friendly judging will take place, and one act will be named Derbyvision Champion — but every performer plays a vital part in making the night unforgettable.
The champion will also be offered a special performance opportunity at Derby Theatre during a performance of Little Shop of Horrors.
