Performer and theatre maker, Caroline Parker and Derby Theatre are looking for 8 Deaf professional artists (you could be an actor, director, designer, writer, musician or dancer…) who identify as mid-career (a professional artist who’s worked independently for over 10 years) to take part in Storm 23: a 2-day paid residency from 28 and 29 January 2023.

You will be paid £250 to attend the weekend residency.
For anyone 25 miles and over, a contribution to travel and accommodation will be paid in addition.

About the Residency
The residency is a chance to get into the room with other creative people, have stimulating conversations, work skills you haven’t used for a while, or even develop new ones, in a supportive environment.

– A completed application (This can either be submitted via a completed form or a self-tape BSL video)
– A completed Equality and Diversity monitoring form
