CANVAS’ Early Years sessions are led by friendly local artists and introduce little ones to a wonderful mix of dance, music, visual arts, theatre, and more. Designed especially for children aged 0–5, these free sessions are packed with fun, hands-on activities that help build motor skills, confidence, and communication — all through joyful creative play.
Sessions run once a month on Fridays, from 10:00–11:30am. Every session is different, so families can enjoy a brand-new arts adventure each time. Please check individual dates to see which creative activity is coming up next.

You and your little one can explore the world through sensory free play, in a safe and stimulating environment.
This creative session combines play, music and art in a gentle and interactive way. Our artist, Rachel Scanlon, provides multi-sensory materials to stimulate your child’s imagination, and is here to help them start a creative journey.
