This Is Derby’s Evaluation Report on Social Mobility

New research on the impact of #ThisIsDerby's unique collaboration of sport, arts and cultural activity has resulted in this co-publication between academics and artistic practitioners.

Organisations across the city have come together to form the #ThisIsDerby partnership: a unique collaboration of sport, arts and cultural activity that supports the development of essential life skills of young people.

Research & Evaluation

#ThisIsDerby is an example of the University’s innovative research, teaching and widening participation partnerships.

This evaluation report informs their research on social mobility, and the partnership is resulting in co-publication between academics and artistic practitioners.

The data is also informing the DfE’s assessment of the contribution of such programmes to develop cultural capital in young people; as part of the OFSTED framework.
