In this workshop with STXTAN you will get the chance to discover these skills and then be part of organising your own spoken word event with Derby CAN for the future.
There will also be some slots available to perform that evening as part of the Real Talk poetry night happening after the workshop.
STXTAN
Belal is a young, British-Palestinian Creative Entrepreneur born in the Netherlands and bred in Birmingham. Poet, Actor, Filmmaker, Student, Belal is a multi-faceted performer and creative. Having now moved to London, Belal is looking to employ his skills within the media industry, while carving out a space for underrepresented communities. His work is centred around the concept of diaspora, with an emphasis on personal reflections and lived experiences.
