Come and join us in spring 2023 for a truly marvellous, magical and merry production of Robin Hood and The Major Oak, an exciting and adventurous brand-new adaptation by Deborah McAndrew, now on sale and on from Saturday 25 March until Saturday 8 April.

Robin Hood and The Major Oak, which follows on from previous Derby Theatre smash-hit family shows, will be a high-energy, fantastically funny show ideal for all ages where all performances will be BSL integrated and Captioned, making it fully accessible to both Deaf and hearing audiences. The production will be brought vividly to life with a wonderful cast of actors (including musicians, hearing, Deaf and interpreting actors).

Featuring live music, songs and a talented company of actor-musicians, this sparkling adaptation will be full of adventure, archery and action, and promises to be bang on target for audiences of all ages who are looking to embark on a spectacular theatrical journey Sherwood Forest-style.

ACCESSIBLE PERFORMANCES

All performances will have fully integrated British Sign Language and Captioning.
Relaxed Performance – Sunday 2 April, 2pm
Specifically aimed to appeal to audience members who are on the autistic spectrum or have sensory sensitivities, or those who would benefit from a more relaxed atmosphere as regards to making noise or moving around– this performance will be available at reduced capacity.
